Part 3, Clean up and Ink

Description

Okee Dokee! Once you roughed out the figure in part two you should clean up you pencils, meaning, get out your ruler and make sure everything is straight. I put some arrows in to show where lines should come straight across. These lines can be erased later. use 'em to make sure the left shoulder length is the same as the right and so on for all common parts. This is for now. Later when you do more poses it won't be this simple.
Once you have the pencils close to what you want your pic to look like, start inking over the lines you want to keep. Guide lines and other stuff will get erased later. Use a thinner pen but make sure it flows well. This was done with a Uniball Delux Micro. Not an expensive pen, it was bought at the grocery store. Notice I started to add details like seems and stuff. Later I'll go over how and where to add the thicker lines that will make it "pop" and add definition in part 4. (click here..[link] )

And the end result seems so easy. I like the sharper details, like the glass on his chest--its actually something clean and sharp to focus on--the sketch markings would seem like clutter and would make me lose track in my drawing. It's like background noise--which is a good case for deleting them as you go along.

I notice the hand sketches--I understand those are hardest to draw, mech or human.
